Who is Ms. Mac?
Teacher,
Tutor, Writer, Speaker, Creator of the Midget Digits
Ms. Mac
owns and operates a small private learning center in San Angelo, Texas called Horizons
Academy. Many of her current and former students have been identified by the public school
system as having special learning needs (gifted, attention deficit, learning
disadvantaged). Because of the varied abilities of her students, Ms. Mac utilizes
accelerated learning techniques and documents the results her students achieve for future
research. Ms. Macs students have been able to produce very impressive academic
results using this approach. Not only have the gifted children performed well above their
peer group (generally 2-4 years advanced), she has produced results with the learning
disadvantaged and attention deficit students which place them ahead of their peer groups
as well. She takes pride in her students academic successes and all of her students
are proud to say they have Ms. Mac as their teacher.
